About
Raveen Shenoi, MD, is an emergency physician and nocturnist in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is a partner with Bayside Emergency Physicians and has worked nights in the emergency department at St. Anthony’s Hospital since 2017.
He is the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of SynchronyMD, which he started with Dr. Mohsin Qazi in 2020. SynchronyMD provides overnight physician coverage for rural hospitals, delivered virtually, so patients can stay in their own community instead of being transferred hours away.
Dr. Shenoi completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland. He trained in internal medicine at the University of Missouri and worked as a hospitalist across Missouri before returning to the University of Missouri for his emergency medicine residency. He is board certified in both internal medicine and emergency medicine.

Raveen Shenoi, MD, is board certified in both internal medicine and emergency medicine. Dr. Shenoi trained in both specialties at the University of Missouri and has practiced continuously since 2013, much of that time overnight: as a nocturnist across Missouri, in the emergency department in St. Petersburg, Florida, and now in building virtual overnight physician coverage for rural hospitals.

SynchronyMD
SynchronyMD is physician-owned. Our nocturnists handle admissions and cross-cover overnight and on weekends for rural and critical access hospitals.
We spend one to six weeks on site at launch. We stay involved until the program runs to our standards, usually within the first six months to a year.
One rate covers the technology, workflow development and program management. No implementation fees. The hospital bills the professional fees and keeps the reimbursement.

Perspective
Our goal is to keep patients in their own community.
At night, rural hospitals often have no dedicated overnight inpatient physician.
We work closely with the nursing staff and become part of their team. At one partner hospital, transfers dropped by about 15 to 20 percent.
